The Third Grade Class of Buffalo's School #48 1924-1925.
After
Mr. Willis retired, a woman became Principal. She made many changes
in the school. No more class photos were taken. Instead, students
were photographed separately and packets were sent to the homes
for the parents to purchase the photos.

The
photo is of a group of neighbors from Masten Street on the block between
Southampton and Northaampton Streets who dressed in costume and paraded
on July 4th in 1921 or 1922.
The families were Germam Americans, Irish Americans and Canadian Americans.
The family names were Krenz, Crout, Linkner, McGrane (?), and Press.
I would be happy to share information with any of the people in the
photo, or any of their descendants.
