This photo was
taken on Wednesday, June 28, 1967 during the height of the Buffalo
riots that rocked the East side of Buffalo from June 26th through
July 1st of that year. This snapshot taken by photographer Hal
Franklif was published in the following days Buffalo Evening News.
It shows rioters overturning a car that was abandoned in the middle
of the street at the corner of Sycamore and Grey Streets in Buffalo.
